I felt like I didn't push myself hard enough with this morning's workout, so I booked an evening ShadowBox class. As I was going to class I felt like I had made a really dumb decision because I just wanted to go to bed. But, man, I killed it. Pushups, you say? How about explosive plyometric pushups! You asked for jump squats? You're getting 180 degree jump squats through the roof! (I still can't get through his ab routine at the end without stopping, though.) -

I have listened to Hocus Pocus several times and wondered why no one has ever made an action sequence around it. I figured it was too weird or would compete with the action or wouldn't play out like I thought it would. It turns out that someone had that same thought: Edgar Wright! The big climax in Baby Driver uses Hocus Pocus - in all of its yodeling, accordion playing, and fluted glory. And it's awesome! I made an involuntary squeal of glee in the theater. I played this for my morning commute and was so fired up I skipped the escalator and ran up the steps. -
