We got this delivered to our house today. It was going from Burien, WA to Burien, WA. The USPS decided to send it to NYC instead.

I once had a PO box at Old Chelsea Station and once found a rather large envelope going from one side of a town in WV to a PO box on the other side of that town. I waited in line and brought it to the window and the postal worker rolled his eyes, sneered and said "well that is your PO box number, right?"
