I've been having almost a persimmon a day for the past few weeks. They are hands-down my favorite fruit. I'm tempted to make something with them for Thanksgiving, but I can't decide. Persimmon pudding? Chess Pie with Persimmons? Persimmon Bread Pudding?
I love them so much just raw that I'm not sure cooking them will enhance the flavor. Also, I want to avoid any recipes that suggest drowning the persimmon flavor in cinnamon and clove.
