For weeks, I haven't been able to get in the summer music mood. I kept listening to Sufjan Stevens on sunny days and getting depressed. This week I even listened to Nico while staring at a cloudless sky. That all changed when I put on the Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix #1. It's like listening to San Francisco classic rock radio while riding a beat-up Volvo around Marin County. Summer is musically here.
